Actually, the UCLA loss can be attributed to a bone head play by
Donald Little near the middle of the 2nd half.
As I remember it, Little and Gadzuric were battling for rebound position under the basket. The ball hit the back rim and bounced way up. They continued to battle, and the refs called a foul on Donald just as the ball came back down and rattled in. I wouldn't call this a bone-head play. Certainly no foul would have been called had the ball gone striaght through. Anyway, UCLA gets three points and the ball out of bounds. The really bad play was us not being set for the inbounds afterwards, and they immediately got another wide-open three and nailed it. Six point swing. It was a big play, but I don't see how you can blame it on Little. And anyway the game went two OT's and we had multiple chances to win.
