RE: Walker and Mayo

NCH has upgraded their team and their schedule for this fall.

It includes Toledo St Johns and three teams from WV. I believe two of
the three had won the WV state championship in the last two years. And
St Johns lost to Hamilton in the Div 1 state championship game a few
months ago.

So NCH still has a weak in-conf schedule, but they now have a strong OOC
schedule.

NCH did go undefeated in the regular season last year, even without
Walker. I saw them once against my alma matter (CCD) & was impressed
with Mayo. He makes it look easy.

Don't think the 2 of them have the supporting cast to be #1 in the
nation though (i.e. better than basketball factories like Oak Hill). If
they were at a bigger school (like Moeller) then they would get tested
more every game (nothing against the Miami Valley Conference, but it is
full of the undermanned smaller schools).

Good point.  Wonder if they will be the number one team in the nation

Walker was injured last year and did not play much.
