Re: Whaley. Well, making up 3 credits during the summer is VERY easy, IF
you are there.
Whaley does just enough to keep teasing us... Why couldn't he be on double
secret academic probation or something so we just KNOW he's not coming back?
The enquirer article says he's not back on campus - the last day to register
for any summer classes is August 8th - If he's not in school by then then he
can't play fall quarter (and I imagine he would just be done period).
Maybe he's been working out individually, will come back for his necessary
class, and be ready to work hard for his senior year. That's the "Whaley
frustration" - he gives us just enough glimpses and ideas that he's gonna be
an impact guy to keep us hanging on. Just set us free why don't you Rob?
(apologies to the Supremes)
Jon
the
In the summer there are 3 3-week sessions, the quarter term, and 2
half-sessions. The first 3-week session is done and the second one is
starting next week I believe. Only the 2nd and 3rd 3-week sessions and
second half session are options. I don't think there are many 2nd halfhave
options, so he is limiting himself greatly at this point.
But why is this not surprising?
As for Pilgrim, I am very pleased to see he did what was necessary. I
withheld judgment on him, and now I will judge him with high marks.Anyone
who takes care of business like that gets my props!squad,
Jon

The Enquirer is reporting that Pilgrim is elegible and back on the
while Whaley is 3 credits short and is ineligible (although he could makeup
those 3 credits in summer school and become elegible). Pilgrim is goodbe
news - I'm not sure if Whaley's inelegibility is good or bad news - might
better if he just went away based on past performance.
