Sorry, wasn't trying to imply that either coach would
be or is at fault. We know the Basketball team has
contacted Eaton, but we don't know either way if the
FB coaches have approached him.
It's seemed to me over the years that it's pretty rare
to see a kid (especially ones that will be starters)
try to play both sports over 4 years. Usually they do
it for 1 or 2 and then just settle on one. Of course
you still have FB players walking onto basketball
teams, but none that I've seen that would be starters.
I think Eaton, by the end of the FB season, will
settle on 1 sport (basketball). Just from things that
he's said in the past.
