Since college (even high school) athletes train almost all year round I see why some coaches don't want to extend an offer to a 2 sport athlete. In this case how can we be sure that Dantonio is the issue? It is possible the Huggins is the one who doesn't want the athletes attention divided between two sports. With James White I would imagine that Track may not interfere with hoops as much as football due to the time of the season it is.

I think that Eaton is just waiting the outcome on
our
coaching situation. If Huggins gets reinstated in
time to
do in home visits, this should be a done deal. If
Eaton and
Flowers commit, to go along with Tyree Evans we
should have
plenty of scoring options when they are sophomores.
Also,
Mike is their anyway we can start a file on Gary
Flowers?
He lit up the Addidas camp yesterday with a 27 point
8reb
effort.

I'd love to know why UC is telling him basketball
only, I've never heard of them restricting a player
from playing 2 sports. James White ran track this year
and Huggs early in his career used walk-on football
players.
Maybe they just need to get Coach Dantonio to get on
the phone and call Eaton and tell him he's interested
in him for football too.
