Mike,

I do not think anyone has suggested that Huggins is not responsible. And, I
think some have been pointing out that beyond the responsibilities we have
for ourselves, we also have relationships and bear some responsibility to
those persons with whom we are in relationship.

If I had friends who had an opportunity to intervene for my well being, but
did not, it would raise atleast 3 questions: 1)what is the nature of the
relationship - is it genuine? 2) what is the mettle of my friends? and 3) Is
there something about who I am that prevented them from intervening?

I think to ignore any dimension would be a disservice to who I am as a
responsible, relational, and whole person.

Go Cats!

sorry. I was not trying to make a point with the caps, just wasn't paying
attention. However my opinion is that the problem is a personal one of coach
Huggins and anyone who even begins to think his fans, subordinates and
family are
in any way responsible for it needs to re-think personal responibility and
what it means.
