Again,... Baylor had a coaching change or violation or something didn't they...

I mean if the University changes there mind (Backs out of the deal that they originally presented) why shouldn't the recruit be able to reevaluate?

The only way a school can back out of a letter of intent is if the student-athlete is denied admission to the school. It is otherwise binding.

The student-athlete signs the letter of intent to attend the school, not play for the coach, so schools will rarely let a player out of the letter of intent. To back out of a letter without a release will cost a student-athlete two years of eligibility.
