I'm willing to cut some slack for Jamar Butler & Terwilliger. HS kids should
be allowed to change their mind about an important decision like which
college to go to & pick the one that best suits them. Moreover, I'm not much
bothered about Butler's comments about academics. Besides for miffed UC
fans, who even heard them?

O'Brien deserved to be fired. Like everyone, he knew it was a mortal NCAA
sin to pay money to recruits.It wasn't just buying the kid a whopper at
Burger King.
