I disagree with the Butler situation. For one, I honestly do not think
he is mentally tough enough to play for Huggs. We all know it takes a
special type of player to make it through Huggs program and more
importantly to succeed in his system. From what I've read and heard
regarding his game, I'm not sold on mental toughness. (just my opinion)
Secondly, having Jamar give UC a verbal then renege to sign a LOI to
OSU then renege on them shows me that he's looking for an easier
situation. One thing that really upsets me is that these high school
phenoms are not held to any accountability for their decisions. If you
make a commitment to a school, then you stick with it good or bad.

Jamar put himself in a bad position and needed to give himself an out.
He had to cover his back so to speak. I'm not sold that another JC
player is the answer to our point guard situation and would love for
Jamar to come back to UC. After he puts on a Bearcat Uniform he
becomes part of the family and all will be forgiven. We were all hurt
by what he said but I'm willing to give him a second chance and I
think it would be a good fit for him as well. We don't have to have
him but it would be nice to have him. I'm just not sure how we could
fit him or Twig on our team.
