New Radio Guy?

Heard a promo on Homer yesterday that was talking about Jeff Picoro
(sp?).  It refered to him as the new voice of Bearcat Basketball!  What
is up with that?  Where is Dan Hoard?  I think Pic will be OK, but Dan
is very good and I would hate to see him go.

Was this a result of the baseball snub?
 
Also, what does Huggs do with the last scholarship?  Without Giles UC
needs to have a Bobitt like turnaround from Whaley and then a Juco or
Freshman for the next year that can step in and contribute the year
after.
