Re: Chester was going to move out to miami with his son...
You are correct SSD, Chet is VERY involved in the decision making process so CJ will most likely go "where his Dad says". He will most likely not end up @ UW for a couple of reasons (1) Chet wants James Edwards involved in CJ's development and wants the coach of the school CJ goes to to either hire JE or allow him to work with CJ on a regular basis. Romar does not want JE involved in his program.... I think I know why. (2) Chet wants a fresh start. He has been driving a bus for too long and he wants to do something different. The school they are favoring is Cincinatti; they have a good record of putting big men in the league (no record of graduating players) and Chet & CJ have family in Ohio. Where I think Chet is going wrong is that he feels his kid, who I think is a nice player, is just a year (two @ the most) from going to the league. I don't agree. Also, I feel like they are underestimating the importance of an education. Shouldn't 0% graduation rate scare them at least a little. Just my $.02
besides kenyon martin, what other "big man" has gone to the nba from cinci?? cinci is a trash program. they are a bunch of thugs, felons, dropouts, etc...i have no respect for how they run their operation. if cj giles goes to cinci he's making a HUGE mistake and his dad has to be one of the most ignorant people on this earth.
btw, does James Edwards live in Ohio? i think not. last i heard he lives in Seattle
