The problem is not one of them could figure it out this past season.  We had
a terrible time getting in to our offense, and, whether it was solely the
fault of the point guard situation or not, we even had to change our entire
offensive scheme after the season started.  As if that was not enough, we
had no ability, all season long, to keep a quick point guard out of the
paint, which killed us defensively.  Nick is a 2, Moore is hurt and may
never play more than a few minutes per game, Lofton is a high school 2 who
isn't even signed, Lucas (& Moore) isn't strong enough on his best day, and
the other 2 guys are 3's, which is interesting if you are going to use a
"point forward" but creates a real problem defensively.  We NEED a point
guard - guards, gawds, gods, however you pronounce it, are what carry you
deep in to the tournament.  St. Joe's had exactly 1 big man that could even
be considered a remotely quality division 1 player and they certainly had a
better season and lasted longer in the tourney than we did.

 It's not like we don't have guys who can play it.  Moore, Williams, White,
Kirkland, Lucas, and possibly Lofton.  I'm willing to go with those guys and
one of them can probably figure it out.
