Basketball players. PERIOD.   I don't care what position they play, bring in hard workers with high basketball IQ's and we will be just fine (though a great jump shot helps!).  You are NOT going to get a perfect player now, from JC or High School.  Get the best you can that wants to come in and work his butt off like Kenyon, Logan, Brannen, Fortson, I-Mac, Mickael, etc.
 
I don't think the coaching staff should get caught up in the "player type du-jour", which right now is small quick penetrating point guard who can score.  What it does then is artifically raise the value of some guys of that type.  Why didn't we hear of Muhammad before the tourney?  Because he probably wasn't worth mentioning.  But now he is the savior at PG?  I doubt it.  
 
I've always been of the opinion that the JUCO route should only be used in emergency situations to plug a hole and never take a JUCO over a quality high school player.  JC's seem to be a 50/50 shot at best at helping your program.  It's not like we don't have guys who can play it.  Moore, Williams, White, Kirkland, Lucas, and possibly Lofton.  I'm willing to go with those guys and one of them can probably figure it out.
