Tuition remission for children is a great benefit for UC employees, but UC
still levies "fees" and, unlike scholarship basketball players, the employee
children still must pay board & buy books. Can add up to quite a bit-maybe
$5,000.

I thought I read somewhere on the forum that Pilgrim`s mother works at UC
and was thus
eligible to attend UC for free.   If this is true, why would he need a
scholarship.   If what I
thought I read was in error, please let me know.
