Ahhh, now I understand what you're getting at.  I haven't been
following the forum as closely as I usually do the past few weeks. 

 To give you my take on your question, I agree somewhat on your point. 
Yes, UC managed to get ranked four spots lower than X which on paper
will reflect that we had similar seasons.  Yet, I'd like to argue that
the only thing that matters in the record books at the end of the
season are the words (Sweet 16, Elite 8. Final 4 and N.C.)  I don't
necessarily feel that everything in X-land is better than whats going
on at UC and honestly the game that turned X's season completely around
was sadly, the cross-town shootout.  If you remember X was 10-9 at that
point and in a tailspin, I undoubtedly thought they were headed to the
NIT.  I think it's amazing what a reversal they had after that key win
and proves your team's run in the tourney is as good as your guard play.
