RE: Huggs show last night

I'm smart enough to realize that the obnoxious sports personality works, but
not smart enough to know why. I avoid the Self-Important One (meaning the
whole station) except for Bearcat Basketball Games and the Huggs show. I have
not been able to listen to more than 10 minutes of the "personalities" on that
station. Maybe I'm just getting old and crotchety... :-)

Quoting Keith Wedinger <address@hidden>:
Andy Furman tends to be very abrasive and not very tolerant. Roger
called in and asked why UC was moving to the Big East. Huggins'
answered it as tactfully as he could and then, Andy basically hung up on
him implying the caller was stupid. Perhaps, off the air, others asked
Andy to tone it down a bit.

Next week, Dan Hoard will again be hosting.

Subject: [UC Basketball] Huggs show last night

Anybody listen to the show last night? I was east of Louisville and my
radio kept cutting out and I missed some of this part. Furball got on
Huggins for answering a question about the big east from Rodger. Then a
break. After the break it sounded like Furball apologized for saying
that. Is that the way it happened? Don
