RE: Cincinnati vs DePaul Game from Mar 2, 2000

Huggins told the team not to shoot the ball until Kenyon had touched it
first. Dermarr later stated that he wasn't sure if Kenyon had touched the
ball so he didn't know if he should shoot or not. Kenyon was the one who
made the pass to Dermarr for the winning shot.

And for all you Dick Vitale haters out there.....you gotta love him in this
game. He sings the praises of Kenyon Martin for a full 40 minutes of
basketball.

Watch the last shot made by DerMarr Johnson. DerMarr pauses briefly
before putting up the shot.
Trivia question: Why did he pause?

That game will forever be etched in my mind as one of the greatest
individual Bearcat performances in the Hugg's era. I remember being the
only Bearcat fan sitting courtside at Allstate Arena staring in
disbelief as Ken hoisted the team on his back and carried them to one of
the greatest comebacks.

I'll be there this Thursday Section 103, Row B seat 4 & 5....of course
wearing my K-Mart jersey! :)

That's the one, Mike. Arguably, Kenyon's finest game as a Bearcat.
I'll have to tape that one.
