Yeah, I would say there is zero chance of Soulymane playing this year from what I have heard from those that have seen him (just very raw). Now if Pilgrim were around then he would be a different story.

My guess is that there is no way the Soul-man plays this year. Therefore,
White or Kirkland getting some PT in a smaller lineup would likely be the
result.

For those of you who read the Enquirer article about Whaley today, as
much as I hate to say it, I think that if Whaley sees <5 minutes of
playing tomorrow, he's going to leave the team, either on a one or two
day hiatus (a la Hicks or Bobbitt) or he's going to leave for good.
Whaley just doesn't look happy to be with the team right now.

Now, assuming the worse case scenario that Whaley quits the team, what
are the options? The team would essentially have only three big men
(Max, Kareem, and Hicks). Do you play White and Kirkland down low if
necessary, or if this would happen this week, do you force Souleymane
into action this year?

I sure hope Soulemane turns out to be something good. Doesnt look like
there
is much left out there but a role player in the big man department. A
great
team needs the good center and the good point guard and UC is short on
both
right now. Don
