I've been catching up on my e-mail after a *long* weekend, and I'm surprised no one has replied to this by now.  Pitino said this after their Marquette loss.

It's not really unusual for teams to go through some doldrums at this point in the season.  The thing is, Huggins has never tolerated lack of effort at any time, period.  I think "unfulfilled potential" is his singular pet peeve, and he just can't stand it when players don't work consistently.

I'd go on, but it's all been said here before.
