I have criticized. Will again. In this case I truly feel it is not
accurate. Especially after hearing the comments and warnings that he had
given the players before the game and in the bad practices leading up to the
game. All player controled (and I like this group of players) that led to a
three point loss. The comment of going to the games is a suggestion I make
to all that can go. A top 10 program should have sell-outs for nearly every
game. Again, I have missed two home games this year myself. I hope we can
agree to meet here Tues evening celebrating a win.

I've seen many posts ripping players to pieces yet for
some reason it is "unfair" to criticize a coach. He
makes his money (1 million plus) because of fans, so I
do have a right to criticize. I also try to get to as
many basketball games as I can. When I can't go to the
games, I watch them on TV. As soon as I have the money
to afford season tickets, I can guarantee you I will
get them! If you can tell me you have never criticized
a coach or player before, then you make a good point.
But my guess is that you have criticized a coach or
player before. It comes along with the territory.

The coach is ONLY an attribute to this program. Yes
Bobby Lutz is one heck
of a coach. Marquette and Louisville have great
coaches (I still despise
and do not respect the latter) The Bearcats got
outhustled and relaxed
enough defensively to barely lose to a talented well
coached team. The same
can be said for Louisville and Kentucky this
weekend. It will not work out
that the Cats win every damn game. If this
abberation of sudden bad
practice habits which translate into bad D-habits
and bad rebounding habits
stops now and we find the Whaley we think we have
this team is going to win
the conference and be in the elite eight (at least).
Ripping on the coach
is unfair, not accurate and does no good for anyone.
Wanna help? Back the 'Cats and fill the Shoe every
game. We are lucky to
have the coach we do. Where would this program be
without him? Trust his
judgement and support the Bearcats. He has proven
that over and over and
certainly has earned it from all of us. -----ginal
