I think they had trouble switching ove from the hockey game the night before.
Actually I bet the -12 record temperatures on Friday night might have had something
to do with it. That is a new floor after the old one got flooded out in what I think
was a construction mishap over the summer.
Anyway, it took me back to my old CYO games in gyms that hadn't been mopped since
the schools opened in the 1800's and my four year old converse all-stars which absolutely
no thread on them. We really didn't play basketball but a combination of basketball
and hockey.

So, why was the floor so slippery for the Charlotte game? Things like this
bug me. Was it condensation on a cold floor, which would mean that it was
improperly installed without enough insulation underneath? Too much wax?
What's going to be done to ensure that it doesn't happen again?
