Not looking crisp offensively (how many missed layups can you have!?!?), but the athletic defense is playing hard and the effort is there.  Max looks to be forcing things offensively.  He even threw one at the basket, lunging with his arm a bit, but is SOOOOOO active going after the ball.  Has a couple of offensive put backs and his last few shots have looked better.  Field has hit a few.  Rebounding has been good.  Max, Erik, and Kareem are active.  I think Nick Williams is in the dog house.  Tulane has to have a bunch of TO's, mostly steals by UC.  Benfield has been very cold.

Nice run at the end of the half using the fast break to go up 33-24, UC's largest lead.

The officials are really letting them play, a bit too much perhaps, but I'd rather let them kill each other than call ticky tacks all night.
