If you want to get Cincy Ch19 from Columbus, there are two ways to do it.

First, a high outside antenna should work fairly well. Radio Shack used to
sell them, advertising about a 150 mile range. Check the Rat Shack web
site.

You should also be able to get Ch 19 on Directv or Dishnetwork, but this
involves a bit of skullduggery, and a larger than normal dish. Ch 19 is
spotbeamed into the Cincy area, so you would probably need a 24inch or 30
inch dish to be able to pick up the edge of the beam. These are
surprisingly inexpensive. More problematic is that the satellite providers
are only allowed to sell you your local stations, so you are only supposed
to get the Columbus locals. This problem can be solved by pretending that
you live in the Cincy area, either by using a friend's address or by using
brokers that help you set up things, usually for about $75. I can provide
more info about this kind of thing (not that I do it myself ... this is just
an academic discussion :) ) if anyone is interested.

I am not sure an outside antenna would help. Has anyone (Keith, Steve,
Mark) in Columbus tried it?

What we need is Time Warner to pick it up and show UC BB like they do with

the Reds games.

If I lived in Columbus and it was at all possible Id have an outside
antenna
if nothing more than to get UC basketball games. But most of their better
games are on ESPN or ABC so enjoy. Don
