You never know the "real" reason - remember Darnell Burton? Have
you asked yourself why Pilgrim is in street clothes while Souleman
is dressed, even thought both ARE red shirting this year?

There are reasons that we may never find out. I agree 100% with
you are wrote this same post about BJ "The Michelin Man" Grove in
the past. Be glad we have Huggs as the coach and he is making
every effort to break Whaley so that he gets in line by the time
he is really needed.

Let's hope that this is motivation enough for Whaley to do whatever
it is that is keeping him from the game tonight.

What is going on with this guy? You have guys like Meeker who
don't have the height or talent but plays his butt off knowing
he never has a chance to be in the NBA. You have Max to show
you how to work hard. Just keep up with him, try to surpass
what he does and BAM your working hard. I have no idea why he
is out of this game but I am guessing he is not living up to
practicing hard. He says he wants to be a good father figure,
I think that is great but help your son see the value of hard
work and dedication. Nobody in the history of our program has
had it easier to get playing time. Hard work in practice, lift
weights in the off season, do your homework, shut your mouth,
listen to the coaching staff and you will be the starting center
on a very good team for the next two years. Then BAM your a
possible lottery pick with a college education. Sorry it just
drives me crazy when someone could be set for life with just two
years of hard work and keeping your nose clean. While the rest
of us non-sports-talented people work in offices trying just to
make it through life to give our kids the best opportunities
possible.
