If a kid doesn't choose UC, I want him to fail. It is human nature. It
is part of being a fan. Will I go to a West Virginia message board and
tell them that they shouldn't root against Huggins because he didn't
take their offer? NO. I expect them to hate Huggins and I know they
can't wait for him to bring his Bearcats to Morgantown.
I really want the kid to fail, though when the kid says he chose OSU for
"academic" reasons. Who chooses OSU for "academic" reasons? I am not
saying that UC is a step lower than Harvard, but anyone that chooses OSU
for "academic reasons" (like a couple of morons have) need to get their
heads examined - preferably at OSU's medical school. I mean, OSU's own
coach left Boston College because he lost a couple of recruits there due
to the academic standards that were in place.

Andy, I apologize if you think that I was coming down on you that
thelooks
intent of the post. All I was saying is I don't agree when a person
forward to a kid (how did you put it) "not performing up toexpectations"
justnot
because they did not choose UC.

I think that when you say things like this it just reminds me of the
people
that said UC got what it deserved when Kenyon broke his leg. It's not
right
and it's not true.
I understand that Huggins has a wonderful ability to develop
players, but so do many other coaches, not just Bob. You can have allthe
RPI,to
Sagarin rankings, and anything else you need, but I feel when it comes
Marchtheir
Madness Huggins leaves a lot to be desired. That 1992 final four
appearance is
almost 12 years old. As far as UC playing tOSU close in football,
areOhio
many teams that can say the same thing but the fact of the matter is
Statedoesn't
is 24-2 over the last 2 years with a national championship and it
getthem
much better than that.
That being said UC is a great program and I look forward to watching
in
the Big East.
