Andy, We are in 105 row J. Crappy seats, and yes I am pissed, but after
bitching about seats last year and complaining about the UCAT passes (only
getting 2) they put us in worse seats this year and now charge for UCAT
passes for platinum level. They are nickel and diming (sp) us to death and
I think they do not care about us any more, but only the BIG donors. The
problem is, I feel like a big donor. My dad and I donate $3k/year, and that
is rough when you get absolutely nothing in return. You used to get to use
the bar and restaurant, you used to get a thank you cruise, now it just
hurts when I sit down (is that a clean enough way to reference it?). I'd
hate to give it up, especially when joining the BE as I realize there are
people waiting in line, but I hope they are investing some of this money
because when UC bball hits a slide in the future (and it will happen) they
will lose a big part of their budget when the fair weather fans quit going.
I will still go or then restart going and get good seats and not have to
donate then, or donate little until the cycle begins again and we are pushed
out by the rich companies and fair weather fans again.

Keith is the equivalent of 2 sections away from me and one from you buying
through the public sale. Andy trust me, I bitch in private, but have gotten
no good responses when I try to talk. "We work hard trying to ensure
everyone's satisfaction." "We give you comparable seats to your seats in
the Shoe" etc. I disagree, but others must either like it or be complacent
enough or they would change it. At least I would imagine they would. My
hope is (other than this email of course!) if I don't bitch this year, maybe
I will finally get something in return for my 3k! Ha Ha!

I wonder, if I bought student tickets the day of the game before the
conference seasons tarts (since they never sell out), and then buy
ticket-broker tickets for the big games, if my total for fball and bball
would add up to the amount I spend now. I doubt it and my seats would be
equal or better. Maybe I should reconsider how I buy my tickets and then
say screw the UCATS. They don't care, someone else is waiting in line. For
now anyway.

Where is everyone's tickets for the Miami Game?

Question for each of you: Do you feel that the seating for a game that is
included in the Regular Season Ticket Package should have different
seating
than those seats at the Shoe? The seating for the Miami Game is decided
on
in the same way that a Bowl Game or Tournament Game.

My opinion is that unless I have a choice of purchasing the tickets, the
seat locations should be the same as the Shoe - to do any less is not
fair.
If you are doing it the way that they are now, I should have a choice for
purchasing crappy seats or not. Aren't there any other UCATs on here, or
do
all of you just take this blindly?

Andy
