Props to Kareem

As Keith points out, the shot percentage for Whaley and Maxiell was 1/3 or
33%.
But Kareem got 5/6 for over 80%, in 17 minutes, Imagine if Whaley "gets it"
and develops a work ethic and gets the hard work baskets that Kareem got.
Kareem makes 5 in 17 minutes, and Whaley gets 6 in 26 minutes. Whaley needs
to work hard and get better position. Props to Kareem, hopefully the image
of what we all love to watch as a "senior hard work leader".
Take Kareem (5/6) out and the rest of the team shot a remarkably uniform
just under 30%.
It scares me though that apparently Bobbitt still does not have his head
right. Souly cannot play without affecting redshirt status, if Moore cannot
play or is limited this year, and Bobbitt flakes out...That leaves only 8
scholarship players to start the season with (before Pilgrim's foot heals
and White becomes eligable). Wasn't it about December of his senior year
that Reuben finally started just doing what Huggins asked/demanded?
Hopefully Bobbitt will learn the Corie Blount lesson that a marginal
(pro/not pro) player with a wonderful attitude and work ethic=13 year pro
career. I seem to remember a Huggins interview where he described Corie's
interview with the Bulls(?) before his first NBA year, and Huggins had
taught him enough to show up 15 minutes early, ask what they WANTED him to
do, be polite and in general be the ONE PERSON the NBA coach was not getting
a headache from. Which is how Corie got chance to prove what he could do in
the pros, especially in the triangle where you need two guys to not whine
about getting shots, and work hard for rebounds. Presto, 13 years pro. Hope
Bobbitt "gets it" soon.
