Andy - I was working on the below when your complaint about 'No Posts'
popped up in my email.

Like Andy, I was impressed with Kareem's effort and strength.

But how about the teams 23% first half shooting percentage . . . .
including missing all seven trey attempts. Eek !

Rob Whaley had a double double in his first effort in a Bearcat uniform.

I liked the glimpses of the defensive press we saw, though far from
perfect. Turnovers started when we began pressing. The half court
double teams worked well.

Souleymane sat out since the rules say that if a player plays even one
minute of a game, he cannot redshirt. He will be our tallest
cheerleader - and yes, that was a nice hat ! Pilgrim, JWhite and Chadd
were all dressed smartly in their streets and cheered their teammates.

Tony Bobbitt did not play because of a "coaches decision". When I tried
to get more info, my source just shook his head in disgust. Tony and
Huggs clash on occasion and Huggs wins 100% of the arguments.

Anyone notice the back of Field Williams' jersey - all it said was
"Field", no last name. He also seemed more mobile and active
defensively. He also was barking out orders at times, like a senior
should be.

If you saw Rob Whaley's post game interview on TV, you could have heard
him say how the Bearcat practices are "more physicaller" than what he's
used to. (cringe)
