MessageSince we are on a bash UC kick, have any of you seen the kind of
stuff that the Alumni Association and UCATS have been putting out. I also
get something called C-Mail that is pretty cool. There was most definitely
a change in their self-promotion for the better this year.
Nice job Alumni Association and UCATS
Gotta love the new pres - she wheres Red and Black on Day one. Has Goin
ever worn a red suit? How about Steger? She will be a great addition to UC
much in the same light as Goin - a new step up from the past...

Student Alumni Council President Clarissa Kin, COB ?04, received top
honors from the Association of Student Advancement Programs. The department
of Student Activities and Leadership Development also recognized the UC
Student Alumni Council as the best student organization on campus for 2003.
Get a Break on "Broadway in Cincinnati"
Members of the alumni association receive discounted tickets to
"Broadway in Cincinnati" performances. Last spring, more than 1,300 alums
enjoyed this benefit at The Lion King performance in Cincinnati's Aronoff
Center for the Arts. You can find this year's schedule and pricing
information at the UCAA Web site.
Excitement is Building With Construction Milestones
The campus is continually growing and changing with the university's

EVENTS
The "Big O" a Slam Dunk for Taft Medal
Basketball legend Oscar Robertson will receive the William Howard
Taft Medal on Oct. 16th at the annual UC Day Banquet. The evening also marks
the launch of the Oscar Robertson Transplantation Fund.
New UC President is Parade Grand Marshal at Homecoming
New UC President Nancy Zimpher will lead the Oct. 25 parade and meet
alumni and friends at UC's "Bearcats are Forever" Homecoming. Along with all
the old favorites like the kids' carnival and football game are new events
to build up the community, including a Sleep-Out for the Homeless.
UCAA Members Can Score Football Parking, Food and Fun at Bearcat Blitz
Before every home Bearcat football game, the Myers Alumni Center
welcomes members and guests to an open house known as Bearcat Blitz.
Regulars arrive early to secure free parking with UCAA Membership Card or C
Paw plates. It's a great chance to plan ahead for your own tailgate party
with friends.
