From what I heard, University College is out, but they are replacing? itwith McMicken College?, not the Arts and Sciences College to my knowledge. I
do know something is changing...

Subject: RE: [UC Basketball] University College
Please correct me, if I'm wrong, but I don't think that University College
is being phased out. Evening College & Adult Ed have been, I think. I was
on the UC Faculty Senate this past yr & University College was absorbing
these other programs.
I think it is a value to society to have an access college at a large urban
state university. Our job is to educate people, & I'm glad that we can give
a chance to those from impoverished backgrounds & those who, for a myriad of
reasons, didn't do well in hs.
By the way other universities with access colleges-Ohio State & Tulane.
