I saw an interview with basketball coach Abe Lemmons (I think that is his
name) and they asked him how many of his players graduate -  
His reply was  "Everybody that WANTS TO graduates".
I think this kid just had to come up with some kind of answer.

Last I knew a degree was earned by the individual not the program.  For his
benefit let's hope he doesn't get Maurice Clarett as a tutor.
