Actually Mike, Clark Francis has said that comparing Butler and Banks is a wash, some people have said they've read articles stating that Banks might actually be an upgrade over Butler.

And remember this was not a last minute back-up plan like Soulman is claimed to have been. There are still a ton of PG's out there that have not committed yet and have had UC listed in their "favorites" list and the recruiting season has just now really started to kick-off, so to say this was a back-up plan is a little presumptuous. Had this been January or Febuary I might be inclined to agree with the AJ/Soulman comparison.
