It would probably be foolish of us to think that it couldn't have played
some role in his thinking. Having said that, I think he will regret not
playing at UC in the long run for his basketball development and the fact
that it was a "dream" of his.

This was a kid who was excited to come play here, so it does make you wonder
what all may have played into this. I doubt we will ever know the full
story, as they are likely to say something generic about his best interests
and desire to play with a friend (if the Ohio State thing ends up being the
case).

They say to pick your friends wisely. That advice could come into play for
any recruit who is considering UC.
