Plus, I think the Hawks would be forced to pick up DerMarr's rather
expensive contract option to keep him.  In all honesty, I cannot blame
the Hawks for not taking the chance.

Yeah, but can you blame them... and it hasn't backfired YET....

They still say they worry about a single hard collision... you never
know with an injury like that
