RE: Conference change: Miami to ACC, What Next?

Anyone know why UMASS isn't being thrown around as a possible Big East
candidate in all of this?

I would think with their location and proximity to many of the other BE
schools, and their past basketball success that they wouldn't be at least a
possible player in this. I know they've been down as of late, but a move to
the BE could give them the resurgence in basketball and football that they
need.

I wouldn't count them out yet and it could hurt UC as they'd probably be an
all-sports addition.

Conference change might happen quickly. Miami has gone to the ACC.
On the WVU board they post that C-USA penalty for bolting goes
from $500,000 TO $1M tomorrow. We might know UofL's fate as well
as some other schools though it seems unlikely that institutions
could move that fast. That's also the first time I've heard of
the C-USA penalty increasing so the WVU poster could be wrong.
