Let's be honest, the crown jewel in this ACC/Big East saga is Miami. TV
ratings for games in which Miami in involved are usually very good.
Adding only Miami gives the ACC a big boost on the football side of the
ledger while maintaining the basketball home-n-home series between the
basketball power schools. The whole point of all of this is more money
and under the current BCS system, adding Miami and its potential 2nd BCS
bowl bid gives the ACC the biggest money boost.
