RE: New poll online - should Whaley be allowed to attend UC?

For the last few years, incoming recruits (from both HS and JC) have been allowed to attend school during the summer prior to their first academic year. The idea is to give them a head start in adapting to classes and the rest of campus life. Frankly, it also gives some of them something to do (and a place to stay) during that summer, instead of hangin' out in the 'hood and all that goes with that.

When does Whaley start to receive his college scholarship
benefits from UC?
When he starts classes in the fall Quarter? End of September?
If that is
the case then he is not a University of Cincinnati student or
student-athlete until then. So why does an incident that
happened 8 months
prior affect his status. If I was a high school senior and have been
accepted to UC's business college and this happened would they pull my
acceptance?

Just a question.

This morning's Cincy Enquirer states that Whaley will not be
allowed to
attend UC until the charges against him are resolved. Do you
