RE: Whaley arrested

The decision is easy if he is found guilty. The real shame is that he
already had to endure this back February when it happened but most
people will not realize this and just consider this another incident on
top of the actual fight earlier this year which got him suspended.

Couldn't be worse timing for UC for two reasons:

1. If I am Alexander Johnson, this makes me shy away from UC since he
already as enough controversy over the whole Georgia thing. Better off
just going to UConn or FSU.

2. There is a good chance that we will have a major conference shakeup
and how do we sell ourselves? Well we are a top basketball program that
should have a strong season coming up if we can get one of our recruits
out jail.

Sorry for being so negative, I just feel bad for our current players who
have to deal with publicity like this.

Not only is it bad publicity, but will put a strain on relationships
with
Whaley even before he steps foot on campus. Huggins will be faced with
a
tough decision on him if found guilty. Let's hope for a not guilty
verdict!
