My guess is that most of the games would be nationally blacked out though as
they would be part of the pay-per-view package. In other words, I do not
think it would help out of towners, and many people still do not have cable
so it would not be good for in towners. I'd be curious to compare the
ratings on Ch. 19 for Bearcats versus a typical Reds game on FSO. It would
not surprise me if the Bearcats have a higher rating.

Why are the Bearcat games televised on channel 19,
instead of Fox Sports-Ohio (also Fox-affiliated)? Fox
Sports Ohio is accessible via Dish and DirecTV, unlike
the local channel 19. Therfore, it seems that, if
they were broadcast on FSO, they'd get better national
exposure (not to mention, I'd get to see a game or two
;-D ). What would it take to simply switch the UC
games over to FSO?
