What does a goalie have to do with it being a sport or
not. That might be one of the more ignorant things
I've heard on this forum in a while. You remove the
goalie and the scores would be similar to basketball
scores, which would make it so unchallenging and very
boring to watch.

eh!!! ;) Icing makes
zero sense to me.

If I could see the strategy element in soccer I'd
probably warm up to
it, but I just don't see it on the same level as
football/basketball/baseball...

Didn't mean to start a pro vs. con soccer debate,
just my $0.02! Shawn

P.S. I'll admit it's fun to watch in Irish/English
pubs w/ rowdy fans
though!
