Some important factors (like so many recruits) in AJ's decision are -

- closeness to his home in Georgia
- playing time expected
- how the coach plans on using him.

The first one we cant do anything about.
The second would likely be answered by "you'll likely challenge Whaley
for center minutes and backup Maxiell your freshman year".
The third one may be "we want you to help us win games and best prepare
you for the NBA, just like we did with Kenyon, Danny, Corie, etc. So
even though you can shoot the three, you wont be shooting them in
Cincinnati".

Now its up to Alex to make the best decision for him.

Not sure if others have seen this (I couldn't get to Bearcatnews.com to
see if it was posted there), but looks like UC is making a move for
Johnson. We could have an an absolutely amazing recruiting class (when
you also consider the transfer of James White) if we got him.

Some analysts already has us rated #1 overall when you consider White,
so WOW if you got Johnson in addition. IMHO he would be an idiot to go
anywhere else based on his desire to prepare quickly for the NBA, the
Bearcats lengthy interest in him and quite frankly the knowledge that
our program (Huggins) is relatively forgiving of "mistakes" in one's
past.
