The writer of the article summarizes exactly his 7 years at USF, which leads
right back to my question, what on earth did Seth do at USF which made him
really interesting to Va. Tech?

PS - The Williams to UNC rumors have now started full blast (again). - That
would close the UNC job, but open the Kansas job - anybody we know, Crean
for example, be interested in either of those positions?

I guess at least one of the writers on the USF beat agrees with me:

Seth, in my opinion, is another one of these guys that sit there and
convince everyone they talk to that they are a great basketball mind, but
can't coach to save his life. He's a great salesman, I'll give him that, but
with the recruits he's had in the past there's no reason why USF shouldn't
have dominated their division, except for the fact that he's not a very good
coach. He'd make a great TV commentator though.

Good. Seth must be one of the most overrated college
bball coaches of last 10 or so years. My guess is that
if South Florida wants, they should be able to attract
a very good young coach from a mid-major conference
like the A-10.

South Florida is now in the market for a new coach.
