White doesn't sit out a "couple of months".  He can continue to practice as he has since early January and will practice beginning Oct. 15th of this upcoming fall as well.  He just won't play his first game until the end of the fall quarter, which I believe could be as early as Dec. 11th or 12th.  After that, he's good to go.

I agree.  I can't believe anyone thinks White will be
more of an impact than Whaley.  Whaley fills our
biggest (no pun intended) need, plus he will be
playing (hopefully) the whole season where as White
will have to sit out a couple months.  I think White
will be very good, but not nearly as important to the
success of next years team, IMO.
