Yeah, I think it was another case where the personalilty just didn't match
the competition. You can't be such a low key guy in a dunk competition. I
was dreaming of James White being our representation if his hype on dunking
is even close (remember Huggins said come to Midnight Madness next year just
to see him dunk).

Wow,

I must say, Stokes's dunks were pretty pathetic. Dunk 1 - A simple
reverse. Dunk 2 - A nice spud webb style timing dunk. But both dunks
were
done with absolutely zero enthusiasm. No crowd noise was generated for
either dunk, and he finished dead-last for those who made both dunks.
(Two
people finished below him, but each missed dunks in the second round.)
Pretty sad representation of UC. I wonder why he was even in it - I don't
remember ever seeing an impressive dunk by him. Oh well.

We get a chance to see Lenny again in the slam dunk contest of the College
Basketball Skills Competition at the Final Four. Apparently it actually
takes place tonight at the Alario Center in New Orleans at 8 p.m. Eastern.

ESPN is showing it on tape delay. Based on my local tv listings, it looks
like the first showing is tonight at 10:00 on ESPN2. This is apparently
being shown right after the Skills Competition ends. It will also be shown
on Saturday at 2:00 on ESPN.
