Just to remind you, the Bearcat was "thrown out" of a game by a ref. So
maybe you are right the cheerleaders or the dance team must be next!
If we are both talking about the same incident, then the Bearcat was thrown
out of the game by my boss, not the referee. The ref wasn't involved.
All people "working" a game, especially at the NCAA Tournament, basically
give awat their freedom of speech in exchange for admittance. This means
that the NCAA has the right to remove anybody from the game that does not
comply with its game management guidelines. Criticism of the officials,
both during and after the game, is specifically mentioned.
If anybody working the game was able to yell at the officials when they
didn't agree with the call then nobody would want to officiate the game.
