Below is a few comments Huggins made after the radio show has ended.
Huggins said a few times "this isn't being taped, right?" then would make
some comments...him and Chuck were telling stories about the old days, and
running guys...stuff like he'd have them run till he finshed his 2 cigars,
they'd ask how long that would take, and Huggins would say "well, they're
pretty long cigars (holding up fingers like 8" apart)...good stuff...
They were sticking it to Maychock pretty good about getting tossed....
Line of the night...
Someone asked Huggins if he heard after he was tossed about Chuck, and what
he'd done...Huggins said he heard they tossed Chuck for swearing, but that
Chuck denied it, then Huggins said "well, Chuck's definition of swearing is
like Bill Clinton's definition of sex"
He also talked ALOT about how things would be different next year, the
swagger will be back, that kind of talk. "We may only have 6 guys"
attitude about how much work will be in store.
In the after show/questions someone asked who his starting 5 would be.
Obviously it's a little early to have that pinned down, but his answer was
interesting...
something like...."well, we'll have a 6'10" guy (Whaley) to stick in the
middle since we have no one now....then Max beside him...James White looks
great in practice, so when he's eligible....Nick Williams is a good, tough
kid...."
Then he went into "maybe Armein, maybe Chad Moore, maybe Hicks". He didn't
mention Field or Bobbitt (who most likely would start at 2 guard) at
all....probably trying to motivate them, I suppose....
He also talked alot about how they missed alot of shots this year due to
poor passing "hard to pick up grounders and then shoot" then said James
White is a phenomal passer, and with Whaley able to actually catch the
ball things would be better...
One thing is for sure, Huggins sure knows how to get the crowd pumped &
thinking about next year's team, days after this one went away...

Does anyone know if there was anything of interest in the unplugged portion
of the show? The 1st hour was not real informative.
