On his show tonight Hugg's expressed that the one thing that Whaley, along
with Williams and White, will bring next year is good passing.

I know what you meant Jason, agreed. :-) I think he will be the answerdominant
though to the inside problem.

Gregg,
What I meant was that people expect Whaley to come in and be
aHuggs's
la Kenyon in his junior/senior year. Past experience has shown in
strongsystem that most guys don't "get it" untill at least a year in theprogram.
All I am saying is not to get our hopes too high for a first year playerin
the system. There are only two guys that I can think of who put up
essence, numbers their first year (Fortson and "Dumb"tonio Wingfield). In
areaslet's hope Whaley can come in and help the team turn one of its weak
(Donaldthis year into an area of strength, nothing more, nothing less.

I am as excited about next year's team as anyone. I agree, they lookgreat
on paper. Of course, this year's team looked great on paper too

Here are the questions I see that need to be answered.
1) Leadership (particularly senior leadership). Huggins has talked
in the past about how seniors come with an urgency that others lack.Field,

3) Point guard - I like what I have seen of Chadd and what I have read

instinct. He is just a little too "happy go lucky" for me. I look at
Hollis Price and TJ Ford, they are not going to back down from anyone.
4) Chemisty - I think this could be the biggest question. In the

However, I am not looking at
Whaley as being the savior next year. I would be totally pleased
UCMaxyear,
if he was able to draw enough attention down low next year to allow

to operate.
Jason,
That would be my defintion as 'savior' for this team. Chance are if
Gonzagahad
Whaley this season, they win at least five more games and beat
IMO.
That is where Robert is going to be HUGE.
