1. UC has a very strong schedule
2. UC has beaten 3 teams that at the time were in the top 10 of the RPI
3. The teams UC has lost to are not slouches. Granted, most of us =
consider
the losses to DePaul, SLU and Charlotte to be unacceptable but none of =
these
are bad teams.
4. Margin of victory/loss is not considered at all by the RPI or by the
NCAA selection committee. A one point win is every bit as good as a 30
point win. Style points don't count.

The new RPI seedings are out. They have UC listed as a #7 seed.
Unbelievable. For comparison, the other #7s are California, Purdue and
Missouri.
