welll....if you take all factors into account, no.

The fact that we have played so well against tougher teams(or atleast shown
the ability to blow out high level teams) I would say getting into the
tourney is the bigger step. We always compete against tough non-conference
competition, ALWAYS. I would MUCH rather have a 10 seed than an 8 or 9.
Playing a 2 seed in the second round suites us nicely, and there is almost
always atleast one 10 seed that slips into the sweet 16. go cats

Think about it - wouldn't it have to be less? Or maybe you mean the chance
of us making the Sweet 16 IF we make the tournament at all is less than
the chance of us making the tournament. Sorry, couldn't resist (I'm
teaching probability this semester).
