If there is no time left, the second free-throw
becomes unneccessary. I suppose there is the option
of taking the second, however.

Question for you...

Duke is playing St. Johns with the game tied, Haten
steels the balls and
drives to the basket. He shoots and is fouled as
time runs out. He goes
to the line and makes the first one then they rush
the court and the game
ends 72-71 St. Johns. Don't they have to shoot the
other free throw?

Why would they only shoot one?

Andy
